Kavinsky

Kavinsky, born July 31, 1975, is a French house / Synthwave artist.

Kavinsky’s musical career started in 2005 when he produced his first single « Terarossa Autodrive » inspired by the Testarossa model of Ferrari.

Kavinsky released EPs on the Record Makers label: « Teddy Boy » in 2006, and « 1986 » a year later.

In 2010, an other EP was released : Nightcall, which was featured in the opening credits of the film Drive and became a major hit.

He also participated to tours with Daft Punk, The Rapture, Justice and SebastiAn. The SebastiAn remix of “Testarossa Autodrive” off the 1986 EP is featured in the video games Grand Theft Auto IV and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. On 25 February 2013 he released the studio album OutRun.
