Eric Chahi
Eric began his career as a representative of Loriciels in Oric Atmos and Amstrad in 1983.
While working with Atari and Amiga, he impressed many with his work on games such as ‘Joan of Arc’ and Chip’s ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’.
In 1989 he joined the game developer Les Voyageurs du Temps as a graphic designer.
In 1991 his work, including design, programming, graphics and artwork, in ‘ Another World’ turned him into a video game legend. The game became wildly successful and in 2012 was added to the official collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
His next project, Heart of Darkness, was released in 1998 and became one Infogrames’s bestsellers.
In 2008, he took on the role of creative director at Ubisoft Montpellier and was involved in projects such as ‘From Dust‘ and ‘God Game’.
In 2014, he co-directed a simulation of eruption of volcanos for the Cité des Volcans, a famous museum on the Reunion Island.
